Cutting disc for stainless steel working, hard burr, FORMAT Design: Aluminium oxide (A 46, A 60), hard, with fibre-reinforced resin bond for long life and cutting performance. Made without iron, sulphur and chloride fillers. Standard bore 22.23 mm. Application: Ideal for cutting thin sheet metal as well as thin-walled stainless steel sections and tubes. Very cut-friendly and power-saving, low burring and low material consumption. Note: For more safety and higher lateral stability working with cutting discs from 178 mm Ø we recommend using a spanner flange, see (Order no. 8110 0010). Important note for working with stainless steel: For working with stainless steel generally only iron and sulphur-free tools are recommended. A tool should never be used for stainless steel after processing ordinary steel. Residue from ordinary steel can be left on the tool. These residues destroy any stainless steel alloy and lead to the formation of rust on the machined stainless steel. Even sparks from machining ordinary steel can damage stainless steel alloys.
